who doesn’t necessarily have any immediate problems but wants to have a thorough examination to assess what is happening in their mouth. For an adult, this appointment is generally 60 minutes long with a fee range of $262.00- $332.00 and includes-
- Comprehensive examination of your teeth, your gums and bone levels
- Dental and medical history discussion
- A full mouth X-ray and other diagnostic X-rays
- A digital scan of your upper and lower teeth
- Oral Cancer screening
- Assessment of your jaw joints and the surrounding muscles
- Cosmetic assessment
- Specific clinical photographs
- A comprehensive discussion of all clinical findings
- Generation of a mutually agreed treatment plan
Generally, we do not give your teeth a clean at this appointment as we do not know what kind of dental clean you will need until after we have completed our thorough examination.
For a child, this appointment is 30 minutes long and will include a thorough clean and fluoride placement. The fee range for this appointment is $200.00- $302.00 depending on whether x-rays are needed. If your child is eligible for the Child Dental Benefits Scheme (CDBS), then the visit is bulk-billed provided that you have enough balance on your Medicare Account.
