Digital Records
At Centre Street Dental, we are big fans of the advancements dental technology has made in just the last few years. We work with our dental team to make each patient visit as efficient as possible, and that includes patient records.
Keeping digital records allow our dentists and staff to pull up your oral health history in just seconds. If we are recommending a patient to a specialist, we can send any pertinent information in only a few minutes.
Digital records also allow us to keep an accurate and precise log for each member of your family.
Digital X-Rays
During your dental exams with Dr Greg Normoyle, we do our best to examine your teeth and gums. There may be underlying issues happening beneath the surface of your teeth, soft or hard tissue, and bones that we just can't visually see.
Digital dental x-rays allow your dentist to see if there are any oral health issues; this is an invaluable diagnostic tool that aids in restorative procedures as well as cosmetic.
Patient safety means a lot to us—we love how digital x-rays emit up 80 per cent less radiation than traditional x-ray film, and the processing is safer for the environment.
Intraoral Camera and Digital Scanner
Patient education is essential to us; we help guide patients in making informed and educated decisions regarding their oral health. Rather than just describing your oral condition to you, we find it more effective to show patients what our own dentists see when they look inside your mouth.
This piece of technology has been the biggest game changer in our practice in terms of the services that we can offer our patients. Our digital scanners remove the need to take messy and uncomfortable moulds of your mouth. These scanners take highly accurate 3D images of the teeth.
We use these scans in the construction of crowns, bridges or implant crowns. We can also scan your mouth to digitally create a new smile for our Smile Makeover patients. This leads to more predictable results and happier patients.
Electric Handpieces
As dental technology continues to grow and expand, we are able to keep our patients' comfort at the forefront of every procedure we complete. The state-of-the-art dental technology used by Dr Greg Normoyle play a significant role in this.

Here at Centre Street Dental, we want to able to provide our patients with procedures that are not only effective and reliable but smooth and comfortable as well. When it comes to root canal procedures, we use rotary endodontic technology over traditional dental equipment.
Our nickel-titanium rotary instruments are incredibly durable as well as flexible, allowing our dentists to perform intricate movements without damaging your tooth. We are able to complete your root canal procedure with efficiency and precision.
OPG - Panoramic Dental X-Ray
This machine allows us to take a full-mouth digital X-ray without the inconvenience of having to send you off to a radiologist. We can get immediate results which allow a far quicker diagnosis of your condition.
