Centre Street Dental

Meet the Team at Centre Street Dental

Centre Street Dental is your local dental practice that provides quality care for you and your whole family. Casino dentists, Dr Annie Thompson and Dr Greg Normoyle and their team, pride themselves on offering exceptional dentistry in a caring environment.

Our preventive dentistry helps avoid future dental problems, while our cosmetic services help craft the smile you've always dreamed of. Our beautiful restorations treat gaps in your smile or broken teeth, while our emergency dentistry means we are here at any time.

We welcome new patients of all ages.

At Centre Street Dental, we provide quality treatment with exceptional care. We do this by thoroughly diagnosing all existing conditions. We then present our patients with all of the options for treatment of these conditions in an educational way, allowing our patients to make informed decisions about which treatment option they would like to pursue.

We love being able to say yes to our patients and encouraging them to love dentistry. We combine integrity and comfort so our patients can feel comfortable and secure with us. We treat patients as part of our family. The personal relationships that we establish with patients are significant for us and make what we do so rewarding.

If you haven't gotten to know our dental staff yet, we invite you to read on.

Dr Greg Normoyle, BDSc

Greg has over 33 years' experience as a dentist and has been practicing in Casino for 30 of those years.

After practicing at 122 Centre Street for 20 years, Greg built a new architecturally designed surgery in 2010 next door at 124 Centre Street. The new building accommodated for the ever-expanding patient base whilst also allowing for the inclusion of the newest technologies available. This has resulted in even better patient experience.

Greg is a passionate advocate for continuing education and attends many courses throughout each year to keep his skills and the technologies of Centre Street Dental at the cutting edge.

Dr Annie Thompson, BDSc

Annie is an outgoing and enthusiastic dentist who is very passionate about providing thorough care to her patients, young and old, as well as welcoming new patients to Centre Street Dental for comprehensive care.

She completed her dental degree through Charles Sturt University in Orange (NSW), graduating in 2014.

Upon graduation, Annie worked in regional northern Victoria, in both the public and private sectors. Prior to relocating back ‘ home’  to the North Coast of NSW where she grew up, Annie worked full time in private practice in Echuca (Victoria) for three years. She enjoys attending many continuing professional development courses throughout the year to ensure she is up to date with dental techniques, materials, and technologies.

Reading journals, listening to dental podcasts, and watching webinars regularly mean Annie is at the forefront of current research so she can better benefit her patients.

Annie loves being outdoors, anything from hiking to gardening, and especially spending time with her husband on their beef and macadamia farm.

She enjoys relaxing with her extended family in the area and always adores getting to the beach for a walk any chance she can get.

More information about Annie:

Looking after teeth has been in the family for Annie, with her father being a successful dental practitioner for 30 years.

Annie grew up in Alstonville and went to both the local primary and high school, before moving south for further study. She always knew the North Coast was home, and was thrilled to move back when the opportunity arose.

Tammy Weber

Practice Manager

Tammy joined the practice in 2000 in a part-time role; she soon moved into her role as practice manager—she's watched the practice grow from only three staff members to eight!

She loves the friendliness of Casino and the local community. The most enjoyable aspects of her role are the interaction she has with other people. She also enjoys training staff from their first day at the dental practice to up-skilling their roles over time.

She also enjoys the interaction she has with patients—she feels privileged to call many patients her friends outside the practice setting.

In her spare time, she has a lot of time meandering around her lush veggie garden and motorbike riding. But her favourite pass time is spending time in the kitchen making home-made goodies.

Rosie Howes

Practice Manager

Originally from Kyogle, Rosie has been with us for one year and seven months; she came to our practice with two years of experience.

One of her favourite aspects of her job is interacting with our patients every day, and seeing first hand how changing a smile can change someone's life.

Outside of work, you can find her spending her time outdoors in her garden and with her many pets. She relaxes by creating art, such as painting and drawing.

Meg Talbot

Dental Assistant

Meg has lived in Casino her whole life and has been at Centre Street Dental for three years. Her favourite part of what she does is seeing patients reactions to their smiles.

When she's not working, Meg likes to go to new places, try out delicious and hot new cafes/restaurants, watch Netflix and attend music festivals or concerts.

Keiarna Hicks

Dental Assistant

Originally from Yamba NSW, Keiarna is the newest team member at the dental practice. She started at the beginning of 2020 part-time but has recently moved to a full-time position and enjoying every day.

The best part of her job is making patients feel relaxed and comfortable, meeting new people and also making new friendships with patients that come regularly. She likes having such a fantastic staff that is fun to work with and make every day a good day.

In her spare time, she enjoys riding her horses, spending the day at the beach and camping with friends and family.

Jess Barton

Dental Assistant

Born and bred in Casino, Jess has been with the practice for six years; she started working with Centre Street Dental in 2014 and had nine months of maternity leave in 2017.

Jess is incredibly enthusiastic about her job; in fact, there's very little she doesn't love about it. She loves that every day is different and that she can make her patients feel at ease and always get a smile or a little laugh.

She loves working alongside her colleagues—they feel like part of her family. Seeing the results after comprehensive dental work is an extraordinary moment for her—after all, a smile is someone's best accessory, and she's so glad she gets to work alongside our dentists to achieve awesome smiles —the list is endless.

When not at work, Jess can be spotted in the kitchen cooking and creating,  but her favourite thing to do is spending time with her little family.

A healthy smile is just a click away.
Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. At Centre Street Dental, we welcome our patients seeking a second opinion should they feel the need to do so.
