Dr Alejandra Hernandez

Dentist

Dr Alejandra Hernandez, or Dr Alle as she’s more affectionately known to her patients, grew up in sunny Brisbane, where she completed a Bachelor of Science at the University of Queensland. Gaining an appreciation for human physiology, whilst also wanting to work with her hands, Dr Alle decided to follow a childhood dream of dentistry - embarking on her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Melbourne. After graduating, Dr Alle worked in a small rural town in southern NSW, where she grew to respect the slower-paced lifestyle, where patients feel like family and there is genuine appreciation for one another. A decision to move back to Brisbane brought about a chance for Dr Alle to expand her family and the following years were busy in many ways! Fast forward to today and Dr Alle is excited to have moved to Casino and surrounds to continue her work in a supportive and family-friendly practice. Her extended family are Casino bred and raised, and it has been a blessing to be around them.

Dr Alle enjoys treating kids and making the next generation comfortable and confident in looking after their teeth from the very start. “Helping people smile” is her motto, which exemplifies a focus in oral education and understanding, whilst utilising her practical skills in any way possible to help those pearly whites shine. Her patient-focused care will make even the most anxious patients feel heard and at ease.

Amongst her favourite things, Dr Alle enjoys time spent at the beach with her little ones, listening to podcasts and trying out new recipes. She has a beautiful Cocker Spaniel named Archie, a handful of chooks, and some Dorpa sheep to shadow her around as well.

Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. At Centre Street Dental, we welcome our patients seeking a second opinion should they feel the need to do so.
